Since I was a child I have loved to bake. After having my son, I have spent more time than ever in the kitchen, cooking nutritious homemade food. In 2020, my son was diagnosed with multiple food allergies, one of which is egg.
Baking and cooking without egg is definitely a challenge, but it is possible! Over the last couple of years, I have been determined to develop delicious egg free recipes for baked goods, breakfasts and dinners, so my son doesn’t miss out. After a lot of experimenting, I now have a growing collection of successful eggless recipes, which I want to record and share through this blog. These recipes have been tested many times, so you can be confident in getting the delicious result you want.
Food allergies have increased rapidly in the last 20 years. Eggs are one of the most common food allergens, particularly amongst children.
There are a lot of people who also omit eggs from their diet for cultural, religious or lifestyle reasons.
